  1. Protection — As mentioned, investors often move into precious metals during times of turmoil. When political and economic uncertainty are in the forefront, the dollar sometimes takes a backseat to assets like gold and silver. Gold and silver bullion can be appealing to investors, Silver tends to get overlooked in favor of individuals investing in gold, even though the dynamic is the same.
  2. It’s tangible — While cash and other financial products are accepted forms of wealth, they are essentially still promissory notes. They are all vulnerable to depreciation due to actions like printing money. Silver bullion, on the other hand, is a tangible asset. That means that, although it is vulnerable to market fluctuations like other commodities, physical silver will never be worthless because of its inherent and real value.
  3. It’s cheaper than gold — Compared to gold bullion, silver is not only less expensive and more accessible to buy, but it’s also more versatile to spend. Meaning; if you buy silver in the form of a coin to use as currency, it will be easier to divide than a gold coin because it is lower in value.
  4. Silver should outperform gold ( percentage wise) — Silver usually with gold: when the price of gold goes up, usually so does the price of silver. Because silver bullion is currently worth around 1/85th the price of gold, buying silver bullion is affordable and stands to see a much bigger percentage gain if the silver price goes up. It makes good sense for an investor to hedge with silver bullion in their investment portfolio.
  5. Historically speaking — Silver and gold have been used as measures of wealth  for thousands of years, giving them a sense of stability. precious metal will endure while a fiat currency may fall to the wayside. When you invest in physical silver there is a reassurance that its value has and will continue to persist.
