First Year of Issue 1907 St. Gaudens Double Eagle

Out of stock

The Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle was minted from 1907 to 1933. Often considered the most beautiful coin struck in American history. The earliest issues of Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles did not contain the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST”, but due to public disapproval the motto was added to the coin sometime in 1908. As one of the only examples in the series to showcase the originally intended “No Motto” design, this 1907 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle is a sought-after numismatic treasure.
These coins mint state 63 , still in the ordinal condition as struck over 114 years ago.
