Description

According to official US Mint documentation dated April 27, 2020, 240,000 American Silver Eagles were struck at the Philadelphia facility from April 8 to April 20, 2020. Silver Eagles, which have no mintmark, are normally struck at the West Point Mint.
The Philadelphia Mint, due to the COVID19 outbreak, temporarily supplemented production of Silver Eagles.
With a mintage of just 240,000 coins, the 2020(P) Struck at Philadelphia Mint Silver Eagle is the second-rarest issue in the 34-year history of the bullion American Silver Eagle series.
There have been other Silver Eagles struck at Philadelphia. When we study the mintage figures with today’s prices on earlier P Mint issues, the 2020 P Emergency Issue specimen is very interesting.
2015 P mintage 79,000 coins-trades over $5,000
2016 P mintage 1.5m coins- trades over $1000
We have acquired a group of 2020 Silver Eagles graded perfect Mint State 70 by PCGS with First Day of Issue designation. Signed by U.S. Mint Master Designer Thomas Cleveland. Cleveland has signed less than 100 of these Emergency Issue Silver Eagles.
This group will be placed on a first come first served basis and will sell out. Phone your representative at 866.789.2646, or click above to order from our website.
