From the inception of the American Eagle Program in 1986, the Silver American Eagle was an instant success. It has achieved legendary status, becoming the most popular silver coin in the world. 2020 marks the 34th and last year of the iconic design. Next year we will see a new design from the US mint.
American Rare Coin has acquired a group of 2019 West Point Proof Silver Eagles struck on the very First Day of Issue and hand signed by US Mint master artist Thomas Cleveland. These coins are graded by PCGS as perfect Proof 70. Cleveland only signed 250 of these coins for us.
Proof coinage is the US Mint’s absolute best work. The fields of the coins are completely mirrored and the devices are struck razor sharp. Creating a pure black and white cameo image.
We are happy to be able to release a small number of these perfectly graded First Day of Issue Proof Silver Eagle. This allotment will sell out. This is the lowest price we have ever offered these at. They will be placed on a first come first served basis.
